Our
summer program is quite unique in curriculum and
presentation. We emphasize physical and cultural
art activities, enabling your child to grow in
areas other than those emphasized during the
traditional school year. Children will benefit
from these activities in that they will begin to
enjoy a varied group of interests. The campers
will have a choice of actiivities, the
environment is structured, not the
children.
ACTIVITIES:
Children are
involved in many indoor as well as outdoor
activities throughout the day. Children will
have the opportunity to choose many of their
activities. Some of the activities to choose
from are...
Cooking, Art, Arts & Crafts
Drama, Basketball, Baseball
Soccer,
Hockey Volleyball
Kickball , Clay,
Swimming
And Much Much More!!!
Children
ages 3 - 12 are welcome at the King George's Day
Camp, and are grouped according to
age.
STAFF:
Our Staff members have
experience with children in classrooms as well
as camp settings. All are required to
participate in comprehensive training prior to
the start of camp, supervised throughout the
summer, and attend weekly camp staff meetings.
Many of our staff are CPR and First Aid
certified, with a Health Director on staff with
Professional lever CPR and First Aid training,as
well as Medication Distribution Certification,
and all are trained to deal with emergencies.
Our Camp Staff
include a Director, Lead Couselors
and Jr. Couselors, as well as lifeguards and
Certified Health
Directors.
TRIPS:
Campers will go on 1
trip per bi-weekly session. Children will also
be going to the park, on Mondays for outdoor
play, nature walks, and ball games, as well as
swimming at a local pool. Campers always travel
on busses equipped with
seatblets.
COST:
All camp fees include
all trips, transportation (within camp) as well
as all of your childs activities. We offer
