Programs

   Our Schools are open all year, offering a variety of programs. Traditional, Montessori, Primary as well as Summer Programs. Full or Part-time programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years old are available. Our schools are fully licensed by New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services and Florida Division of Family and Children, as well as Local health, building and fire code officials.

 INFANT PROGRAMS: ages 6 weeks-18 mos. Our Infant programs are dedicated to providing a loving, nurturing, and stimulating environment with a trained, caring staff who have formed a partnership with parents to meet the unique need of each infant. The infant environment is a safe, yet challenging place where the infant's needs are paramount. The infant environment is divided into areas for younger and older infants, and children in sleeping areas can be clearly seen and heard by staff. We provide variety, flexibility, and change in the physical environment as well as consistency, regularity and order in routines. Each infant is provided with his or her own personally labeled crib. The parents are given individualized daily reports and the caregivers look forward to discussing your Infant's day with you.

 TODDLER PROGRAMS: Much of the learning in our Toddler Program takes place during group activities, hands on experiences and independent play times. Much of the Toddler Program centers around language, letter recognition, social and motor development. Basic concepts, such as shapes and colors, are a part of the program as well. Children are encouraged to take part in activities designed to enhance gross motor skill development. Toddlers are active learners who learn best with materials which encourage their actions and reactions.

 THREE YEAR OLD PROGRAMS: Children enrolled in our Three Year Old Program are involved in learning experiences geared for the development of improving language skills, letter recognition, math skills, science, social studies concepts, as well as fine and gross motor skills. These skills and concepts are developed through the use of a comprehensive curriculum guide designed especially for three year olds. Our three year olds are encouraged to gain confidence and independence through work and play. Nothing is more exciting for three year olds than to be able to say "I did it myself!"

 PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS: Those children enrolled in our Pre-Kindergarten program are provided with numerous hands-on experiences to develop the skills essential for success in Kindergarten and the future. A solid Reading Readiness foundation is developed through the use of the fun-filled Alpha Time letter and sound recognition programs. Math skills, science, social studies, and computers are also part of the Pre-Kindergarten curriculum.

 KINDERGARTEN/PRIMARY PROGRAMS: Children enrolled in our Kindergarten, First and Second Grade classes have the advantage of a full day of learning and enrichment activities. Primary students are involved in programs and activities developed to provide a solid foundation for their future schooling. Primary class size is limited in order to maximize the teacher-student ratio and to offer as many opportunities for individualized reading and writing.

 MONTESSORI PROGRAMS: The primary goal of our Montessori Program is to help each child reach full potential in all areas of life. Activities promote the development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination as well as cognitive preparation. The holistic curriculum, under the direction of a specially prepared, Montessori Trained staff, use all Montessori recommended materials in accordance with the Montessori philosophy. The children are taught to respect the environment and materials and work at their own paces independently. Each teacher is required to plan around a central theme. Lesson plans are posted weekly for parents to view.

 CAMP & SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Our Summer Programs are quite unique in curriculum and presentation. We emphasize physical and cultural art activities, enabling your child to grow in areas other than those emphasized during the traditional school year. Children will benefit from these activities in that they will begin to enjoy a varied group of interests. Children will be utilizing computers more in the summer and we off a Gym Program with certified Physical Education Teachers. The children will enjoy water activities and picnic lunches outdoors.

 FIELDCREST LOCATION: "Suntastic Summer", ages 3-12, includes swim courtesy of the Sheraton Edison Hotel. Weekly themes, computers, trips, and much more. Serving the Edison camping community for over fifteen years. Early bird discounts are available.
